OK I admit it...I haven't been on dA as much as I should have lately I guess my faciniation with World of Warcraft has taken over from photography a bit....but no doubt that will change, with the good weather of summer I really hope we can get out and take some good photos soon and I wil rekindle my love of photography.

Now on to the feature

Abstract….such a subjective subject….you either love it or your hate it. Is it art? Or is it just a mistake? I personally love Abstract Art. Have you ever tried to actually make an abstract that looks good? Flicking a load of paint on a canvas will just leave you with a mess, it takes real skill to make a good abstract. And yes sometimes serendipity plays a part

For photography you need an eye for a good subject. One of the people I watch who is a queen of Abstract Photography is =rk2901 she finds the most amazing art in ordinary things, rust and peeling paint for instance are quite beautiful through her eyes. A good friend of mine in real life =PherenV also has a great eye for an abstract (and also a bit of luck
